Paper preparation guidelines
Conference Language
The official conference language is the English language.
Full Papers
Authors whose papers are accepted for the Conference SSC 2006 will be invited to submitt electronically manuscripts of their paper (Paper On line submission). The manuscripts will be peer reviewed before publication. Proceedings of the SSC 2006 will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids (JPCS), Elsevier. Presentation of accepted papers at the Conference is a necessary condition for inclusion of the papers in the Proceedings (JPCS).

Paper On line submission
The online submission details for the Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids. Authors should submit their manuscript online. Please, visit http://ees.elsevier.com/pcs Use the following guidelines to prepare your article. Via the "Author Gateway" page of this journal (http://authors.elsevier.com/) you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of the various files. Please, remember to "Select Article Type" Special Issue: SSC2006. The system automatically converts source files to a single Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the article, which is used in the peer-review process. Please note that even though manuscript source files are converted to PDF at submission for the review process, these source files are needed for further processing after acceptance. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail and via the Author's homepage, removing the need for a hard-copy paper trail.
Deadline: for sending the papers is any time from now till the beginning of the conference, i.e. 24. 9. 2006.
Page Limits:Ordinary paper (oral, poster) need to fit into 4 pages of JPCS format., invited papers need to fit to 6 pages.
Presentation
There will be 30 minutes (including a short discussion) for oral presentation of invited papers and 20 minutes for other oral presentations. The maximum size of posters is 120 cm in height and 100 cm in width.
